Rotate PDF

A scan came out sideways. Rotate PDF sets the rotation flag on every page to 90 degrees and downloads one PDF.

Always 90, on every page

Add one PDF. The cap is 25 MB. There is no angle menu. The worker does not receive 180 or 270, so it always writes 90. That value replaces the rotation flag. It does not add 90 to the rotation already stored. A page already marked 90 stays 90. A page marked 180 becomes 90, which may still look sideways. You cannot rotate page 3 only. Encrypted files are not opened, because this job does not ask for a password. Run it again only if the first result is still wrong, and look at the new file before you assume another click adds another quarter turn.

What the flag does not change

The text and images stay the same objects. Nothing is cropped, split, or recompressed. Compress PDF can run afterward and still will not downsample photos. Split PDF can pull one page out if only that page was sideways, but the extract is a separate file, not a rotation of one page inside the original. Extract PDF Pages also keeps the pages you name in one PDF. Merge PDF stacks files and does not turn them. Unlock PDF is the step when the file asks for a password first.

When 90 degrees is the wrong fix

If you needed upside down, this tool cannot set 180. If one page in a packet is the only sideways sheet, rotating the whole file makes the other pages wrong. Edit PDF Pages can delete a bad page. PDF to JPG renders only the first page as a picture and does not rotate the document. Keep the original until the download looks upright in a reader. If it does not, this tool has no other angle to offer. split-six.pdf started at 1,910 bytes, six pages, every flag at 0, and each page 612 by 792. Run Rotate PDF wrote rotated.pdf at 1,919 bytes in 77 ms. All six flags read 90. Width and height stayed 612 and 792. The button label is Run Rotate PDF. The download control says Download file.
