Extract PDF Pages

A packet has a chapter you need and a lot you do not. Extract PDF Pages copies the pages you name into one PDF.

A range is required

Type a range such as 1-3,5,7-9. Numbers start at 1. A backwards pair is treated as the forward span. Pages outside the file are skipped. If none of the numbers are valid, the job stops and names the range. A blank field is rejected. You cannot leave it empty to mean every page. The download is one PDF, in the order you listed, not a ZIP. Split PDF is the other shape: each selected page becomes its own file. /blog/how-to-split-a-pdf-into-separate-pages shows that ZIP path. Extract is the job when the receiver wants one attachment, not a pile of files.

Copies, not pictures

Each kept page is copied from the source. Text stays text. Photos are not resampled. Nothing is rotated or cropped. The upload cap is 25 MB and the job takes one PDF. A password-protected file is not opened here. Unlock it first if you know the password. Edit PDF Pages can delete and reorder with arrows when you would rather click than type a range. Merge PDF stacks separate files. Compress PDF rewrites the result and does not downsample images.

When a range is the wrong request

You will not get a JPG of a page, a paragraph pulled out of a page, or a new file that omits the range you forgot to type. PDF to JPG and PDF to PNG render only page 1 as a picture. If the sheet you need is not first, extract it, then convert that shorter PDF. PDF to Word still only lifts a text layer. Keep the original packet. Count the pages in the download against the numbers you typed before you send it.
