Overview
FileToolsHub provides free online file and text tools. This policy explains what data we process and how long we keep it.
Uploaded files
When you use server-side tools (PDF, image, spreadsheet conversion), files are uploaded temporarily for processing. We do not sell your files. Processed outputs are available for download for a limited time, then removed from storage.
Browser-based tools
Text and developer tools (JSON, YAML, regex, encoders, generators, and similar) run entirely in your browser. That content is not uploaded to our servers.
Accounts & guest IDs
Optional accounts store email and authentication data needed to sign in. Guest usage may use a random local identifier for rate limiting and job tracking.
Analytics
We may use privacy-conscious analytics (such as Firebase Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic and improve the product. Analytics does not require access to your file contents.
Cookies & local storage
We use essential storage for session tokens, guest IDs, and preferences. You can clear browser storage at any time.
