About PDF to JPG
Some sites want a picture of a page, not the PDF itself. PDF to JPG renders the first page as one JPEG and downloads that image.
Only the first page
The renderer is told to capture page 1 and stop. A 12-page report still produces a single JPG of the cover. There is no page picker, no ZIP of every page, and no “export all” switch. If you need a later page, split or extract that page into its own PDF first, then convert the new file so the page you want is page 1. JPG to PDF goes the other way, from photos to a document. Images to PDF does the same for mixed image types in the browser.
About 150 DPI, white background
The page is drawn at a scale of 150 divided by 72, which is about 150 dots per inch on a standard PDF page. A US Letter page lands near 1275 by 1650 pixels. The image is flattened onto white, so a transparent area becomes white, then saved as JPEG at quality 90. You cannot type a different DPI or quality. Vector text is rasterized, so the JPG is a picture of the page, not editable text. HEIC to JPG is for phone photos. PNG to PDF is for pictures that should become a document.
What this tool will not do
It will not export pages 2 and onward, keep vector sharpness, or return a PNG from this URL. PDF to PNG is the PNG twin and has the same first-page limit. Password-protected files are not unlocked here. The upload cap is 25 MB and the job takes one PDF. A scanned page converts fine because the output is a picture, unlike PDF to Word, which needs a text layer. Open the JPG and check that the right page was first before you upload it to a form.
