About Mirror Tile Image
Mirror Image here builds a 2 by 2 tile: the original, a left-right flip, a top-bottom flip, and both flips. The PNG is twice as wide and twice as tall.
Four copies, twice the size
Open one image. The canvas becomes twice the width and twice the height. The top-left quarter is the picture drawn as it is. The top-right quarter is the same picture flipped left to right. The bottom-left quarter is flipped top to bottom. The bottom-right quarter is flipped both ways. A 100 by 50 picture becomes a 200 by 100 PNG. The download name ends in image-tile-mirror.png. The drawing stays in the browser. The file is not uploaded. There is no mirror axis you can drag. The four placements are fixed. There is no gap and no border between the quarters. They share edges. The PNG keeps that layout.
What mirror image means here
People often want one flipped copy, the same size as the original. This page does not do that. It always builds the four-tile block. A single left-right flip is a different image tool. Transparency follows whatever the browser draws into the canvas. A photo with no alpha stays opaque. The format out is PNG even when the source was a JPEG. There is no quality slider and no resize before the tile. A large photo becomes four times the pixel count, so the PNG can be heavy. Resize first if you need a smaller tile.
Edges and orientation
The flips are geometric. EXIF rotation is whatever the browser already applied when it decoded the file. This page does not read a separate orientation menu. A portrait photo stays portrait in each quarter, then the whole tile is twice as tall. Text in the picture will read backwards in the right half and upside down in the bottom half. That is the mirror, not a caption error. There is no setting to mirror only the right half. Crop afterward if you needed one quarter. A 200 by 100 source becomes 400 by 200. Measure the download if the preview looks cropped. The canvas is the source width times two and the source height times two.
When the tile is the wrong result
A profile photo that should face the other way needs a single flip, not this tile. A kaleidoscope look with more than four wedges is not offered. Video is not an input. The picker takes an image the browser can draw. If the preview is blank, the file did not decode. Try a PNG or JPEG. The result is a picture, not a print layout. Speaker Test and the audio tools do not touch it. The pixels stay on this device until you download the PNG. A 100 by 50 picture becomes a 200 by 100 canvas, and the file name ends in image-tile-mirror.png. The four quarters share edges, with no gap and no border.

Frequently asked questions
How big is the download?
Twice the source width and twice the source height. A 100 by 50 image becomes 200 by 100. A 200 by 100 source becomes 400 by 200.
Where does each copy sit?
Top left is the original. Top right flips left to right. Bottom left flips top to bottom. Bottom right flips both ways.
Can I get a single flip instead?
Not here. This page always builds four tiles. A one-copy flip is a different tool.
What format is the file?
PNG. The name ends in image-tile-mirror.png. A JPEG source still downloads as PNG.
Is the picture uploaded?
No. The canvas is drawn in the browser.
