Monogram Logo Maker

Monogram maker turns a name into one or two initials on a square PNG. File Tools opens as FT on a 512 pixel circle, and a blank name box also falls back to FT.

FT on a 512 circle

The name box starts as File Tools. Two words become the first letter of each, so the initials line reads FT. One word uses its first two letters, so Ada becomes AD and a single letter A stays A. Three words use only the first two, so Ada B C becomes AB. The canvas starts at 512 by 512. The size slider runs from 128 to 1024 in steps of 64. The shape menu starts on Circle and also offers Rounded square, Square, and Shield. Circle radius at 512 is 235.52, because the shape is drawn at 92 percent of the canvas and the radius is half of that. The type is bold system-ui. At 512 the size is 194 pixels. Colors start at #0f172a and #ffffff. The download is monogram-logo-maker.png.

Spaces, shield, and the question mark

An empty name box is replaced with FT before the initials are taken, so clearing the field still shows FT. A name that is only spaces is not empty, so it reaches the initials function and draws a question mark. The preview label says Initials and then the letters. Shield uses a pointed path rather than a circle. Rounded square uses a corner radius of 22 percent of the shape size. Square is a plain rectangle at 92 percent of the canvas, so a margin of the PNG stays clear. There is no second line and no icon. The note above the form says the export is PNG and that nothing is uploaded.

What you do not get

There is no SVG download. There is no font menu. The face is system-ui. There is no way to force three initials. The drawing can show three letters, but the name field only sends two. Badge Maker is a wide label, not this square. A new color redraws the preview without a separate render button. A failed export can show Could not export PNG. The live preview sits on a checker so the margin outside a circle is visible.

The mark stays in the tab

The canvas is built in this browser. The PNG is not uploaded. Change the name, look at the initials line, then export. The saved file uses the slider size, not the size of the preview box on the page. Keep a copy of the name if you might want different initials later. The page does not remember the last name after you leave. The button under the preview reads Download PNG. A size of 128 still uses the same two-letter rule and the same 92 percent shape. Only the pixel count of the file changes. Ada Lovelace draws AL. A one-letter name draws that letter alone. Three words still stop at two initials.
