Shipping labels and product stickers need a linear barcode, not a QR square. Barcode Generator draws a PNG in the format you pick.

Which format accepts which text

Code 128 takes ordinary printable text and is the right default for a SKU or a ticket id. Code 39 allows letters A to Z, digits, space, and the symbols - . $ / + %. EAN-13 wants 12 digits and adds a checksum, or 13 digits if you already have the check digit. EAN-8 wants 7 or 8 digits the same way. UPC-A wants 11 or 12 digits. A wrong length or a letter in an EAN field fails with an error instead of a broken image. The hint under the value field restates the rule for the format you selected. ISBN check-digit tools are separate if you are validating a book number rather than drawing bars.

How the PNG is drawn

Bars are black on white. Each bar module is 2 pixels wide, the bars are 80 pixels tall, the font under the bars is 16 pixels, and the margin is 12 pixels. You cannot change those sizes. You can turn off the human-readable digits with “Show text under bars.” The file downloads as barcode.png. Generation runs as you type, and the button runs it again. What this tool will not do

It will not print a sheet of labels, export SVG, or look up a product database. It will not invent a valid EAN from a short name. A Code 128 of a long string becomes a wide image; the page does not wrap it. Colors are fixed, so a brand-colored bar is not an option. The value stays in this browser. Wi-Fi QR Generator is for network logins, which a linear barcode cannot express in a way phones expect.
