About Blur Image

A blurred photo makes a great background for slides, social posts, and wallpapers, because text sits on top of it without competing for attention. Upload an image, drag the radius until it looks right, and download the result.

Picking a blur strength

A small radius (roughly 2–5 px) softens detail and skin texture. A medium radius (about 10–20 px) turns a photo into a calm background for text. A large radius removes almost all detail and leaves soft color, which works well for abstract wallpapers and gradients.

Blur is not a safe way to hide information

Light blur on text, faces, or license plates can sometimes still be read or reconstructed. To remove sensitive details from a screenshot, cover them with a solid shape instead of blurring.

Keep the file size down

Downloads are PNG, which is lossless and can be large for photos. If you're posting online, run the result through Compress Image or convert it to WebP afterward.
