About ATS Resume Score
You want a second look at a resume against one posting. ATS Resume Score returns a number and three short notes. It is not an employer system.
Paste, or a PDF with a text layer
Paste the resume, or drop a PDF. The PDF is read for text and that text is what gets scored. A scan with no text layer fails or comes back empty. The resume text is cut at 10,000 characters. The job description is cut at 8,000. Both fields are required. The reply is parsed for a score from 0 to 100, one strengths line, one gaps line, and one tip. What the number is not
The prompt tells the model to compare the two texts and not invent jobs you did not list. It is still a language-model opinion. A 80 here does not mean a company filter will pass you. There is no keyword density chart, no template gallery, and no cover letter. AI Writer drafts new text from a topic. AI Rewrite rephrases a paragraph you already have. AI Summarize shortens a long paste. None of those is a hiring simulator.
When the score is a poor use of the tool
A graphic resume, a two-column layout, or a photo header often extracts in a scrambled order. Fix the source to a single column before you trust the gaps line. The AI routes allow a limited number of calls in a few minutes. If you hit that, wait and try again. Do not paste secrets you are not allowed to send. The PDF is uploaded for the extract. The score is guidance you should read, not a promise.
